Andrew Perez


Andrew Perez is the founding Principal at Perez Strategies and the Executive Director of the Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention (CASP), where he leads advocacy, public communications and programming for the pan-Canadian organization. Andrew is a talented communicator and public affairs strategist with more than 15 years’ experience in the public, private and non-profit sectors. He is a sought-after freelance writer, political commentator and Liberal strategist. Andrew’s bylines have appeared in a myriad of prominent media outlets and his political insights have been featured in dozens of top-tier print and broadcast outlets across Canada and internationally. Very active in his community, Andrew serves as the President of the Board of Directors at Fife House and is involved in a variety of philanthropic causes in Toronto. He holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Toronto, where he teaches digital communications strategy.
