  1. I was already starting to think about removing alcohol from my life. I didn’t have a problem with it, yet I also knew that it could be too easy to slip into one given another problem I was facing. With the news reports last year I simply made a choice and haven’t had alcohol since January 2023.
    I have continued to enjoy some very fine alcohol-free beers, and what’s interesting about those is that there’s nothing that makes me want to drink faster or have more. They have been a great find.

  2. I’ve scaled back my nightly beer to every other night, so like three and half a week. I occasionally opt for low-alcohol (4%) or non-alcoholic beer, flavored sparkling water, or kombucha.

    I was also a bit uncomfortable with the news, but it looks like folks just want the experts to back up their usual habits instead of just sharing the facts.
