When was the last time you got a proper haircut? We don’t remember either. We’re two months into this lockdown, and, much like our lives, our manes are growing out of control. The time has come for us to buzz off COVID-19.

BUZZ OFF COVID: Shave your head for men’s health

On Friday, May 15th, join men across Canada as we come together to raise donations for men’s health by adding “barber” to our list of skills we’ve picked up during isolation.

Whether you’ve ended up with mom’s bowl cut, a botched mohawk, or an unruly mop of hair, this is the perfect opportunity to right these wrongs. Let’s take control of our heads and build resilience by taking the matter into our own hands.

When you participate in this event, you will help us raise $5,000 for the Canadian Men’s Health Foundation to further men’s health programming and research. Why now? Emerging data suggests that more men have died from COVID-19, and it may be due to higher rates of preventable chronic diseases. We need to keep tracking the data while empowering men to make lifestyle changes.

Together we can change the lives of millions of fellow Canadian men who need our help. We’ve got to be there for Canadian men who need us most.

Show your solidarity by asking family and friends to back your buzz, and join us for a nationwide head shave on Zoom!
