  1. I’ve been practicing intermittent fasting for the past couple of months. An 18:6 formula. At 74 I had allowed myself to gain weight and become sedentary. I wasn’t happy, buying larger waist sizes and losing agility. After 6 weeks I lost 15 pounds and began to become inspired by the results. My body has adjusted to the calorie reduction and I’ve began walking 5 km three times a week. I eat a balanced meal at dinner and then only water, tea, or coffee until the next dinner meal. I’m encouraged by the results, my weight seems to have plateaued for now, but I’m going to stay with this plan as it seems very natural at this point. I haven’t had any guidance, just the motivation to become lighter and healthier. Oh, I inadvertently cut out sugar, and it might just be coincidence, but my back pain has almost disappeared after years of scheduled injections and daily Tylenol use.. amazing.
