Dr. Eli Puterman, PhD


Dr. Eli Puterman is an award-winning researcher and Associate Professor at UBC in the School of Kinesiology with a PhD in health psychology. He’s the Canada Research Chair in Physical Activity and Health and a member of the Royal Society of Canada College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists. His research includes examining the effects of physical activity on mental and physical well-being. When he’s not working, he enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time outdoors with his husband and son.
