Vancouver, February 8, 2021 – Today, the Canadian Men’s Health Foundation (CMHF) announced that TC Carling has been named its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Carling assumed the position on February 1, 2021, and succeeded Wayne Hartrick, who held the role since 2013.

Carling re-joins the CMHF after previously holding the position of Senior Vice-President in 2014. Over the past 20 years, Carling has gained valuable leadership experience holding executive roles with Canucks Sports & Entertainment, GSL Group and most recently as President & CEO for Fortius Sport & Health. Carling has extensive experience in communications, media relations, stakeholder engagement and operations.

“On behalf of the CMHF Board of Directors and staff, I would like to formally welcome TC back to the team,” said Dr. Larry Goldenberg, CMHF Founder. “TC is a values-based leader who shares our passion and commitment for improving the health of men and their families in Canada. I look forward to working closely with him to continue to extend our reach and enhance our messaging to more men across our country.” Dr. Goldenberg continued, “I thank Wayne Hartrick for his key role, beginning in 2010, in the conceptualizing and founding of the CMHF, including its award-winning, validated and internationally recognized Don’t Change Much brand and the passion he brought as CMHF’s first President.”

“It is with great enthusiasm that I accept the role of President & CEO with this innovative organization committed to improving the lives of Canadian men,” said Carling. “Dr. Goldenberg’s vision to improve the health of men all across Canada and the positive impact that has on families and communities is something I am passionate about. I have a strong desire to help improve the statistics around men’s health in our country. CMHF has become a thought leader in men’s health, and the importance of a healthy community has never been greater than now.”
