What’s Inside Men’s Health Check

This check-in looks at how your habits and history relate to eight common men’s health conditions. It’s not a diagnosis, just simple guidance to help you make informed choices.

  • Type 2 Diabetes

Men have a higher risk of type 2 diabetes than women. Left untreated, it can lead to serious health complications. Treatment at an early stage or for prediabetes can delay, prevent, or reduce signs and symptoms.

  • Low Testosterone

Low testosterone impacts your mood, sex drive, strength, and more. Learn how a healthy lifestyle can naturally promote testosterone production.

  • Colorectal Cancer

Colorectal cancer is the second highest cause of cancer death in men. When caught early, 90% of cases are treatable.

  • Osteoporosis

One in five men will break a bone in their lifetime due to osteoporosis. Learn the risk factors and warning signs of this silent disease.

  • Heart Attack

Men are 2 times more likely than women to suffer a heart attack, and diagnosed 10 years younger. Up to 80% of premature heart disease and stroke are preventable through lifestyle habits.

  • Depression

Men are less likely to seek help for depression and 3 times more likely than women to die by suicide. Learn the signs, treatment and prevention.

  • Prostate Cancer

Early stage prostate cancer usually shows no signs or symptoms, so testing is important. Detected early, it’s curable in most cases.

  • Testicular Cancer

One of the most common forms of cancer in young men ages 15-35, testicular cancer is also one of the most treatable when detected early. Find out what to look for every month in a self-exam.

A Life-Saving Health Screen When There Are No Symptoms

CTV National News Correspondent, John Vennavally-Rao is a survivor of two primary cancers, lung and rectal cancer.
