Dr. Melanie Badali is an award winning clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience as a clinician, researcher, educator, and mental health advocate She is certified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) by the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies. Dr. Badali is passionate about helping individuals manage stress and anxiety, and offers science-based psychological services at the North Shore Stress and Anxiety Clinic.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Badali is a strong advocate for mental health awareness. She shares her expertise through writing, public speaking, and media appearances.

Dr. Badali’s Qualifications

  • Ph.D. and M.A. degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of British Columbia
  • B.A. (Honours Psychology) degree from McGill University
  • Clinical psychology residency at the University of Washington School of Medicine
  • Graduate of the International Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Foundation Behavior Therapy Training Institute
  • Board member of Anxiety Canada (since 2013)
