Occasionally experiencing anxiety is a normal part of life but frequent, intense, and excessive worry and fears should be addressed.

Anxiety Disorders

Anxiety disorders can include several conditions. Phobias are one type of anxiety disorder, where the person has an unreasonable fear of particular objects, animals or situations.

Another is panic disorders, where the person may experience recurring episodes of intense fear combined with physical symptoms such as difficulty breathing.
